The Vietnam Experience
Like You Have Never
Seen It Before...
Unless Of Course You Were There

How do you take an assortment of stories acquired while serving in the military during a major conflict, put them together into a book and keep it from being just another war story?

Here's how. By recounting memories of the battles that were few and far between....by reflecting on the people, mostly very young men, struggling through every minute of every hour of every demanding day. There are many rules of engagement but no set standards on how to cope emotionally with the hardships and fears.

Can you tell a story about the average soldier living from day to day with a perspective that his family and friends can relate to? That's what author John Keith Roberts has successfully achieved in his exciting new book.

John Keith Roberts served his country as a United States Marine in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam Conflict. He later married and became a father. He has traveled extensively throughout the fifty states and Canada and has experienced worldwide adventures from Da Nang, to Rome, to Istanbul. Originally from Indiana, he now lives in Washington State where he runs a small business and spends much of his time writing and hiking the mountains and deserts of the great Northwest. He enjoys the company of his many good friends and continues to travel whenever and wherever he can.
